Richard Haig is a Senior Vice President in Toronto’s Office Leasing division specializing in tenant representation and corporate realty advisement. In addition, as a LEED Accredited Professional, Mr. Haig consults with clients on the merits of LEED buildings and LEED Commercial Interiors and understands the importance of sustainability as it relates to commercial real estate. With over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate, Mr. Haig is an extremely deft negotiator with strong analytical skills who can easily manage transactions with a number of complex issues at once.
Mr. Haig has been a Senior Vice President with JLL since 2010. Prior to joining the company, he was one of the top tenant office leasing representatives at Cushman & Wakefield for 20 years. Before entering commercial real estate, Mr. Haig served as National Account Representative with Xerox, in both Montreal and Los Angeles, and was also the Assistant Manager of a Toronto Dominion Bank branch in Montreal.
Education, Affiliations and Community
Mr. Haig earned a Business Administration Degree from John Abbott College and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Concordia University in Montreal. He is licensed by the Real Estate Council and is a member of the Toronto Real Estate Board. Mr. Haig is also a certified soccer and hockey coach and is currently coaching Minor Hockey in the Greater Toronto Hockey League.
