Paul is a Vice President within the Industrial Services Group of JLL in Montreal. His role on the team is to provide advisory services and execute lease and sale transactions on behalf of his clients. From local entrepreneurs to fortunes 500 companies, Paul works with a wide range of businesses and implements a customized strategy based on clients' specific operational requirements and relevant market conditions. His market knowledge, combined with a well-planned execution strategy allow him to consistently negotiate better than market lease terms and sale agreements for his clients.
Paul brings to JLL's clients over 30 years of experience in real estate transaction management. Much of Paul's career was spent managing the leasing of several Montreal based office and industrial real estate portfolios for institutional and private investors.
Paul became a commercial real estate agent straight out of university in 1984, and worked for a broker that specialized in office tenant representation in Montreal's downtown core. In 1987, Paul left the brokerage world to join Canderel to market and lease 630 Ren-Lvesque Blvd West, a prominent office tower in the downtown core. After having successfully completed that mandate in 1989, he became Director of Leasing with a local real estate developer which was eventually acquired by O&Y Properties in 1998, where he was appointed Vice-President of Leasing for Quebec, and played an integral part in expanding the third party management portfolio from 1 million sq ft to 10 million sq ft. Paul later became a partner and member of the senior management team that acquired O&Y Properties' R/E management division to form Arcturus Realty Corporation in 2006, a national property manager.
In 2008, Paul went back to his original passion of brokerage, and prior to joining JLL in July 2017, was a Vice President at Cushman & Wakefield (formerly DTZ Canada). With his profound knowledge of the inner workings of real estate management, Paul continues to work as a seasoned leasing professional in Montreal representing the long term interests of major tenants, in addition to selling R/E assets for clients.
