Mark Sinnett is Executive Vice President and Practice Lead of Montréal’s JLL Capital Markets Group. The Group, composed of 11 real estate professionals, offers 5 complimentary business lines, offering acquisition and disposition services for commercial / retail, land / special assets, office, industrial and multi-residential investments, with Mr. Sinnett specializing in retail, commercial, and multi-residential investments. As Practice Lead, Mr. Sinnett is mandated with establishing the Group’s strategic direction and with growing this business line in the Greater Montréal Area and throughout the province of Québec.
Mr. Sinnett joined JLL in April 2014 and has since closed over $300 million in transactions. He is consistently amongst the company’s top producers, ranking fourth nationally and first provincially. Under his leadership, the Group has transacted over half-a-billion dollars of investments, launched a new service line, and grown by 25%.
Prior to 2014, Mr. Sinnett was Senior Vice President at CBRE, where he consistently ranked as one of the company’s top producers.
Recognized for his professionalism and integrity, Mr. Sinnett has distinguished himself by his ability to develop and communicate a unique vision of each property, his creative and aggressive negotiating strategies, his in-depth knowledge and expertise of the Québec and Montréal markets, as well as his unwavering determination to maximize the value of client assets.
He has represented both Montréal private investors as well as major financial and retail estate institutions, including TD Bank, Royal Bank, Northwest Properties, BTB Real Estate Investment Trust, Plaza Corp. and First Capital Realty, as well as government agencies such as Canada Post.
Education and Affiliations
Mr. Sinnett holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University, with a specialization in marketing. He is a real estate broker in the province of Québec and a member of International Council of Shopping Centers.
