Bernard Lawrence is the Executive Vice President of the Tenant Representation Group for JLL in Montreal. Bernard's team consists of five brokers with complementary skill sets that work together on a permanent and structured basis. This unique team model ensures clients receive the ultimate level of service by drawing on nearly 60 years of combined commercial real estate experience. The team completed over 250 transactions for approximately 2.98 M square feet of office space in the last four years. Bernard is best described as a consummate professional who consistently achieves aggressive transactions for his clients. A true tenant advocate, he is known for bringing integrity, an unparalleled work ethic and innovative thinking to every transaction.
Bernard has over 20 years of experience in business to business sales, territory development and management. He has been working in the commercial real estate industry for the last 12 years and has executed over 250 assignments in this short period.
Education and Affiliations
Bernard holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Ottawa with majors in finance and marketing and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the province of Quebec. His love of travel drove him to study abroad in 1996 where he attended the renowned Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Économiques et Commerciales (ESSEC) in Paris.
The tenant representation team is actively involved in a number of charity organizations. Specifically, volunteering and providing financial support to the Old Brewery Mission. The team has also been one of the largest participants and fundraisers for Games for Hope in 2016 and 2017 and is actively involved in the Breakfast Club of Canada. In addition, Bernard has travelled the world extensively having backpacked in Peru, the Yukon and many countries in Europe and the Middle East. He is also actively involved in his community having been a volunteer swim coach for children with special needs and a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity.
