Robert A. MacDougall is a Senior Vice President within JLLs Capital Markets Group in Montral. He specializes in land investments and special assets. Typical files are of a complex nature which requires the property to be repositioned or where the buyer or end-user is not easily identifiable. These include private and waterfront estates, large tracts of estate, corporate or government lands, distressed properties, non-operating industrial and/or manufacturing properties past their useful life, large tracts of rural land and significant urban development properties, and resort properties requiring capital injection and/or a change in vision.
Mr. MacDougall has over 38 years of experience in all facets of the commercial real estate business. He joined JLL in 2011 and has since closed over $200 million in business for JLL from a wide array of property types and is among the top investment practitioners in Canada for JLL. Prior to joining JLL, he founded and ran the Qubec arm of Sothebys International Realty. He was also managing director of Colliers International Realty Qubec for ten years.
Mr. MacDougall holds a Bachelor of Arts from Bishops University. He is a Chartered Real Estate Broker and past President of the Qubec chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR).
