Franois Ltourneau is a valuable member of Montreals office leasing team at JLL which consists of six brokers with complimentary skill sets that work together on a permanent and structured basis. The teams culture encourages collaboration and guarantees the best resources with the right expertise are assigned to each project.
His role on the team is to provide transaction management services to local and multi-market clients. Through his evolution within the team, he has maintained the accountability for all matters relating to financial analysis, market research and data analytics. As a young broker, he is also responsible for building long term relationships with new clients and suppliers. His skillset and understanding of the tenant representation process also allow Franois to assist in the teams operations by providing insights to its manager and three support staff.
Mr. Ltourneau has 3 years of experience in tenant representation with knowledge of negotiating and analyzing office leasing transactions across Canada. During this time, he has been involved in providing support on over 150 office leasing transactions in the Montral and Qubec City markets. Since 2015, as a role of transaction manager for one of JLL Canadas major Corporate Solutions client, his responsibility on the account is to oversee all transactions in the clients portfolio of 54 sites across Canada. As of February 2016, he had advised them on 20 transactions for a total of 155,000 square feet of office space in 11 different markets in Canada.
Prior to joining JLL, Mr. Ltourneau has gained business experience through internship positions held at SNC-Lavalin and Deloitte where he learned about the importance of being detailed oriented and maintaining healthy long term relationships with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
A strong academic background in finance and law allows him to provide clients and colleagues with accurate qualitative and quantitative recommendations. Mr. Ltourneau is a forward thinker, he uses market data and analytics to identify opportunities, forecast trends and ultimately create strategic leasing transactions. His big picture personality and style of analysis is well geared towards providing strategic single site or portfolio advisory services to tenants and owners of office space across Canada.
Mr. Ltourneau holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia Universitys John Molson School of Business with a major in finance and a minor in economics. He has also passed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program level 1 exam. In addition to his studies in business, he has completed thirteen law classes at the University of Sherbrooke.
